Beginnings _ career

I was born in Concepción del Uruguay, Entre Ríos - 1981.

At 17, I moved to Buenos Aires to study Fashion Design at U.B.A. (2006). Later, I taught at the same institution.
My professional career led me to collaborate with designers like Mariano Toledo and Nadine Zlotogora,
and to serve as Creative Director of DOMA Leather (2007–2023).
My collections crossed borders (Japan, the U.S., Europe, and Latin America),
dressing figures such as Richard Gere, Steven Tyler, Christina Aguilera, and Shakira, among other national and international artists.
As a designer, I was recognized in prestigious competitions like Alpargatas Textil, Tela y Talento (2008)
and the Para ti & SAGA Furs of Scandinavia Leather Contest (2003).

Argentine Delta Islands _experimentation_vision

That experience shaped my perspective on craft, deepened by my upbringing among rivers, streams, and Uruguayan seas.
But it was my 9 years living in the Delta Islands—immersed in nature—that steered my vision toward sustainability and permaculture in art.
There, I experimented with living basketry, natural dyes, and cultivating/harvesting my own fibers:
phormium, honeysuckle, palm leaves, corn husks, while salvaging logs and eroded wood - treasures - that floated ashore with each rise of the Arroyo Esperita.

Back in Buenos Aires, the streams turned to asphalt; the flood became people, noise, and traffic.
My treasures, reclaimed wood from construction sites.

Present_to integrate

In 2025, my work was selected for the VII Women's Salon and the 1st International Microtextiles Salon, receiving an honorable mention, and was exhibited at CAAT (Argentine Center for Textile Art). That same year, I began individual mentorships with Gonzalo Maciel and, since 2024, I have been attending artistic practice mentorship with Amalia Zambra. In my work, I combine painting, sculptural jewelry, embroidery, natural dyes, natural sizing techniques, and elements collected during travels -always linked to water-, integrating art, permaculture, and my transformative experience in the Argentine Delta islands.
